1 cup plain flour
1/2 cup cornmeal
salt And pepper to taste
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
3/4 cup milk
Vegetable Oil for frying
Combine the flour,Salt,sugar,baking powder and cornmeal.
Whisk the milk and egg together and then add to the dry ingredients, mix into a smooth batter.
Transfer the batter into a jug/tall glass to help coat the hot dogs uniformly
Heat vegetable oil in a sauce pan.
Mount the halved hot dogs onto the skewers and dunk into the batter and coat well. Shake off the excess batter and fry.
Fry in hot oil until golden brown and crispy for about 3 to 4 mins.
Serve with ketchup or mustard.
